Classification of various faucets

1. According to materials, faucets include stainless steel faucets, cast iron faucets, plastic faucets, brass faucets, and zinc alloy faucets.

Production process flow of various faucets

1. Traditional faucets are made of brass, and the process flow is as follows: copper ingot → dissolution → casting → post casting cleaning → casting inspection → mechanical processing → tolerance inspection → grinding → surface inspection → electroplating → electroplating inspection → assembly → pressure test → finished product inspection → packaging → leaving the factory. There are a total of 16 processes, and each process must be strictly controlled in order to achieve quality assurance. The production process of faucets made of other materials is similar to the above process, except that the materials are different.


2. The manufacturing process of faucets includes four categories: sand casting, manual metal mold casting, gravity pouring machine, and low-pressure casting. Most of the low-end faucets on the market are manufactured using sand mold casting, also known as sand casting. The structure of the faucet cast by this production process is sparse, and it is easy to form sand holes and air holes, making it difficult to ensure quality. High end faucets are generally made of gravity casting, with a compact internal structure and much higher quality than those made of sand casting. In addition to these, the more advanced manufacturing process for faucets includes die-casting, which means one-time grinding and forming.


3. After the faucet is cast, it must be processed by various machine tools such as turning, milling, planing, grinding, and boring to achieve accuracy. Another important step in production is inspection, and each step must be strictly inspected according to standards to ensure product quality.
